Hard to find English splay bodied Windsor saute reduction pan “L&W” mark of “Lee & Wilkes Ltd, Brewery Street, New Town Row, Birmingham.”
Commissioned for English military service in 1952 during the Korean War of 25 June 1950 – 27 July 1953.
Crisp marks including the English service Pheon/Broad Arrow.
A heavy gauge pan well over the Extra-Fort requirements that the world’s top chefs and cooks require and demand.
I’m sure even today this would make a feasible sidearm for any service person or military enthusiast not to mention a superb addition to the cook that wants the best!
