Hard to find pair of 19th C. GEORGE III baluster form 1 pint tankards with domed hinged lids.
Inscribed as pictured with tavern marks “AW 8” “AW 10″
Good working hinge to both lids. Internal slivering in exceptional condition for age, clean and bright with very minimal loss of plate. Re-plating if desired is something you could consider but sadly not offered here.
No Makers mark that I can see which is not uncommon for pieces from this period.
